“I had boxes and boxes of old family slides from the 1960s—many of which had never even been seen. After some searching, I found RETROSCAN online, and to my surprise (and delight), they were local to me in Durham Region.

I didn’t have time to go through and sort the slides, but that wasn’t a problem at all. Sara came right to my house to pick them up, and we had a great conversation about the project.

When I received the digitized versions, I was completely overwhelmed—in the best way. Family memories that had been tucked away for decades were finally brought to life for us to enjoy. Even more amazing: among the slides, they discovered a home movie from the early 60s that I had no idea even existed.
